Our Asbestos Abatement Division is Findlay Environmental Ltd. This division covers all aspects of the asbestos industry, which include comprehensive surveys to a type I, II and III standard, as well as offering a management and consultancy service, conversant to the new hazardous waste regulations (July 2005). Within the new division we are also licensed by the Health and Safety Executive to carry out all types of asbestos removal including asbestos insulation, asbestos coatings and asbestos insulation board, or depending on the logistics of the project we use methods of encapsulation to secure any identifiable hazards.

Due to our asbestos related work we have also acquired our license from the Environment Agency for the carriage and disposal of all hazardous waste materials arising from any project/sites and have initiated an extensive company environmental policy to ensure safe working practices, as we feel strongly about environmental issues here at Findlay Environmental Ltd.

Asbestos Roofing Removals
We can also repair or remove old asbestos roof coverings and replace with non-asbestos or metal alternatives, subject to the conditions of the existing roof in the accordance with HSE regulations. Our roofing division has recently successfully completed projects including the Docklands Light Railway, Blue Water Shopping Centre, Stanstead Airport, S.C.A Paper mills, and roofing and associated works for the London Borough of Newham. We are also approved liquid plastic roofing applicators and certified Sarnafil roof installers.
